Mike Akins is one of the most successful networkers in the network marketing industry. I have been in the industry for more than 33 years and am very familiar with a great number of its leaders; Mike is the best of the best.

Dozens of trade magazines have written articles complimenting Mike. He has been referred to as the "greatest networker in the world" and "the # 1 salesman in the world." It has been said that "Mike Akins is a professional networker with a true heart for the members of his organization."

None of these statements capture a vision of this man. Mike cares more about his distributors and leaders than anyone I have ever met. He takes this responsibility very seriously. He believes you should never open another person's heart up to dream and believe unless you're willing to mentor that person and stick with them until they achieve that dream.

Mike donates thousands of dollars in product to terminally ill patients around the world. Many individuals are alive today because of his charity. Mike personally involves himself in caring for people in his community. He has worked with the homeless on the streets of America. He has worked with the youth and elderly. His humanitarian heart has crossed over to his network marketing career. I believe the greatest reason why Mike is so successful is that he truly cares for the downline partners who place their trust in him.

Mike began his life in poverty. At the age of 19, he was married with a wife and daughter who were ill. He dropped out of Junior College to care for his loved ones. Mike worked an average of 90-100 hours per week to care for his family.

Mike was an introvert and even stuttered. He joined Amway in 1967 and struggled to learn to be outgoing and build an MLM business. Eventually Mike did learn the ropes of MLM. Because it was such a struggle, he learned very well how to succeed from the bottom.

During his career, before his venture with 4Life Research, Mike developed five huge organizations in MLM. One of these companies went out of business and taught Mike the importance of investigating the company that he joined. The other four huge organizations pay residual incomes to this day.

Mike eventually purchased and developed conventional businesses such as restaurants, a health club, a transit business, an RV park and truck stop, auto body shops, etc. He became very deeply involved in counseling, humanitarian and religious activities. Mike learned a great deal from these endeavors and transferred what he learned to his network marketing experiences.

Mike lives on 5% of his income, invests 60% back into supporting his downline partners, and gives away 35% to the needy and dying. Although Mike earns a great deal of money, he lives in a modest home and drives a simple Ford Escape. Mike is about people more than living in wealth.

Mike's dedication to others has attracted loyal individuals like his staff members. Some of these individuals have worked with Mike for 20-33 years. Being a unique person also has created jealous critics. I believe Mike can achieve anything he puts his mind to and anyone that aligns themselves with him will experience the leadership of a true success warrior and the respect and loyalty of a true friend.
